Peace of Mind vs. Piece of Mind

Next time you want to give someone a piece of your mind, consider giving them a piece of your "peace of mind" instead.

When blessed with opportunity to spend time with older people, it is common to find they all want the same thing- Peace of Mind. The great news is that it is available to all of us and just a decision away.

Have you ever spent time around someone who tells the same story over and over again to anyone who will listen? And then, they get escalated and pissed off at the same spot in the story every single time. Since our brains can't tell the difference between when it really happened and when it is just being repeated, as a story, our bodies react with the same mechanism. Anger creates toxins in the mind and body. Your thoughts alone are enough to turn your body into a toxic wasteland.

The secret to a calm and happy life is not to take things personally and get shifted by others. When you learn to become an observer and participant in your own movie of life you accept each situation as an Act in your movie. It's your life and your movie. Are you creating a drama, horror, comedy or love story?

Meet everybody and every circumstance on the battlefield of life with the courage of a hero and the smile of a conqueror.
